Halloween 2020
The City of Broeck Pointe is working closely with The City of Manor Creek to do our best to ensure safe Trick-or-Treating for this Halloween. Halloween is a treasured time of year for many, and we would like to keep a sense of normalcy during these trying times of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
While Trick-or-Treating is never a City sponsored event, the Council recommends that residents carefully consider the guidelines set forth by the CDC for a safe Halloween. While the City would suggest following these safety protocols, personal safety will be at the discretion of each resident.
Below are ways you can make Halloween safe for everyone this year. For the full CDC guidelines, click HERE . Kentucky Halloween guidance can be found HERE .
Avoid direct contact with trick-or-treaters.
Give out treats outdoors, if possible.
Set up a station with individually bagged treats for kids to take.
Wash hands before handling treats.
Wear a mask.
Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds when you get home and before you eat any treats.
The City Council are really enjoying the decorative enthusiasm exhibited by residents for Halloween this year and we hope you continue to decorate throughout the upcoming holiday season!
