Broeck Pointe City Council Welcomes LMPD 8th Division to the Neighborhood
The City of Broeck Pointe City Council and residents welcome LMPD’s 8th Division to their new headquarters on Goose Creek Road.

This morning, the City of Broeck Pointe Mayor, Mark Petruska, and City Commissioners, Elizabeth Murphy Keenan, Robin Cecil, Wendy Smith Petruska, and Monty Fields, along with residents, Bruce & Marlene VanWagner, delivered muffins to the officers and staff at the new Louisville Metro Police Department 8th Division Headquarters on Goose Creek Road.
The 8th Division is LMPD’s second largest Division, serving an area of over 90 square miles and includes Barbourmeade, Bellemeade, Briarwood, Broeck Pointe, Douglass Hills, Glenview, Goose Creek, Hurstbourne, Langdon Place, Lyndon, Manor Creek, Middletown, Murray Hill, Plantation, Rolling Hills, Springhurst, Ten Broeck, Westwood, Wildwood, Woodland Hills, Worthington Hills, and other smaller cities and subdivisions.
